In 1895, a group of Christians came together in what was called "No Man's Land" of the Cherokee Strip and decided a church was needed. Those believers established the Bethel Baptist Church at Hawley, Oklahoma Territory. Since then, a lot has changed. We are now called Bethel Hawley Baptist Church, the town has died, and the church has grown! For over 125 years, our church has been

with those in our community, our county, our state, our nation and around the world.

NEW BUILDING PROJECT APPROVED
Our church recently approved adding an additional building to our church. It will house a larger kitchen, a much larger Fellowship Hall, new and larger classrooms, a youth room along with restrooms and storage rooms. This is a $ 2,000,000.00 project and we are trusting God to provide through us to accomplish this goal! Pray for this project with us!
